One of our clients called today with the biggest excitement in his voice. He insisted to meet me for lunch. After moving few appointments we met in Perth CBD.
When I arrived at our meeting place he already had ordered some nibbles and a $400 bottle of red wine. A clean and polished glass was waiting for me.
He stood up and gave me a big hug. It was little weird as he is a very serious person, a person who only talked business with me so far. Business and nothing but Business.

He said that he has made more sales this October 2010 then in 3 to 4 months combined.
What happened?
On 28 of September I emailed him telling him that we positioned his website on page 1 of Google. He said that since beginning of October he was so busy that he didn’t have time to call and speak to me.
Now I will attempt to show you what happened to his business website.
The image below shows the traffic to his website from 01-October-2010 to 28-October-2010. He had 2765 Unique Visitors.
This image shows the huge increase in traffic from end of September nad then in October 2010.
The last image displays his dialy visits during October.
Now, this must be exciting for a business owner when his traffic and sales go through the roof.
The client is a Perth based business who had a relatively new website with not much traffic. Now that he is on page 1 of Google his business started doing very well.
His plan is to take it to a higher level and optimise for more keywords. And of course that can be done. Looking forward to another $400 bottle of wine.
A Word of Warning.
As a business owner it is good to be prepared if your business suddenly takes off without compromising product quality, product delivery or customer service.
Because once you are on page 1 of Google, Yahoo and Bing your business can grow drastically and you better be ready for it
